Welcome to
Colourful Splendour

The birds are chirping, the sun is shining and now it definitely feels that summer is here - even the rain has started to fall (this is not counting the snow, hail, and freezing temperatures we experienced last week – my goodness – how bizarre that was)! I thought I might be off to make snow angels in Harrismith!
If I look around the city and in gardens, the plants are doing exceptionally well. I think the rain certainly refreshed and gave new life to our flower beds, but we can still offer a helping hand by watering when necessary, fertilizing and mulching.
We can see from our super plant sales in September and rose sales in October (thank you very much for your on-going support) that your garden should be looking beautiful but maybe there are a few gaps to fill - a place where the pests chewed one of your plants or the hadedas dug out a seedling in search of a worm, or the dogs tried to chase the cats through your dianthus and now they look bedraggled or maybe the hail caught some of the leaves and they are looking battered and bruised - visit us to fill those gaps.
Come and visit our branches – they are renowned for their vivacious displays of colour and environmental awareness. You will be captivated by our enthusiasm towards gardeners from all walks of life!
